Vajrapani bodhisattva

The mantra oṃ vajrapāṇi hūṃ phaṭ is associated with Vajrapāni.[9][10] His Seed Syllable is hūṃ. Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་པཱ་ཎི་ཧཱུྂ༔ Vajrapāṇi (Sanskrit; Pali: Vajirapāṇi, meaning, "Vajra in [his] hand") is one of the earliest-appearing bodhisattvas in Mahayana Buddhism. He is the protector and guide of Gautama Buddha and rose to symbolize the Buddha's power. Vajrapāni is extensively represented in Buddhist iconography as one of the earliest three protective deities or bodhisattvas surrounding the Buddha. Each of them symbolizes one of the Buddha's virtues: Manjushri manifests all the Buddhas' wisdom, Avalokiteśvara manifests all the Buddhas' immense compassion, and Vajrapāni protects Buddha and manifests all the Buddhas' power [1] as well as the power of all five tathāgatas (Buddhahood of the rank of Buddha).[2] Vajrapāni is one of the earliest Dharmapalas of Mahayana Buddhism and also appears as a deity in the Pali Canon of the Theravada school. #भंन्ते_दण्डमिस भंन्ते दण्डामिस हे तक्षशिला विद्यापीठ व बौद्ध विहाराचे प्रमुख होते. बौद्ध तत्वज्ञान व दर्शनशास्त्र शिकवले जात होते. या बौद्ध संस्थेच्या प्रमुख हा त्याचा अनुभवाच्या व ज्ञानाच्या जोरावर त्या पदाचा प्रमुख होते असे. भंन्ते दण्डामिस यांची सर्वत्र प्रशंसा होती. कारण, जेव्हा सिकंदरचा दुत त्यांच्याजवळ सिकंदरचा निरोप घेऊन आला आणि म्हणाला, "जियसचा पुत्र जो संपूर्ण जगाचा राजा आहे त्या सिकंदर राजाने तुम्हाला बोलवले आहे. जर तुम्ही आलात तर तुम्हाला भरपूर धन आणि उपहार मिळतील जर तुम्ही नाही आलात तर तुम्हाला सक्त शिक्षा मिळेल किंवा तुम्हाला ठार मारण्यात येईल." भंन्ते दण्डामिसांनी त्यांचे संपूर्ण म्हणणे धैर्याने ऐकले. त्यांचे म्हणणे ऐकून ते जराही विचलित झाले नाही. त्यांनी स्मित हास्य, करत उत्तर दिले, "जो जियसचा पुत्र आहे तो सिकंदर राजा, या जगाच्या एक अंश जमीनीचा देखील राजा नाही आणि ज्या माणसाची इच्छा संतुष्ट नाही, तो दुसर्‍याचे काय भले करणार, जो व्यक्ती जगात लूटमार करत फिरत आहे, तो कोणाला काय देणार, जेव्हा तुमच्याकडे दुसर्‍याला देण्यासारखं काही असत तर तुम्ही जगभर दुसर्‍या
